With teams in San Francisco and Los Angeles we service everywhere throughout the state and beyond!


Christine Garrison
Owner / Lead Planner

Christine is a highly experienced event planner and the owner of CMG events. With years of experience in corporate, party planning and wedding planning, Christine can help guide you through the planning process and help turn your dreams and initial ideas into a reality . Her personal touches, attention to detail and the timeline and warm and fun-loving attitude are just a few of the qualities that she’s known for most. From ideas unique to each couple to flawless execution, Christine and her team have helped many couples have the most amazing wedding day they could have imagined!

She was born and raised in the Bay Area of California,but traveled south for college where she obtained her Bachelors in Communications and Spanish at the University of San Diego. After graduating she headed to Los Angeles to pursue her love for the event planning industry. Christine worked as the Senior Event Coordinator on the Santa Monica Pier where she worked on large-scale events ranging from 100-2,000 guests for notable companies such as Google, Snapchat, Hulu, Microsoft and the SOSC World Games.

She is here to be your creative partner and her ultimate goal is to have you thoroughly enjoy your day without stressing over anything at all. She loves what she does and that is obvious to every client she works with.

Vivian Sam
Lead Planner

Vivian has enjoyed an extensive career in the corporate event industry planning large scale events all over the country. However, it is weddings that are her real passion. It is her background in the corporate world that has made her vendor negotiations, venue logistics and budget analytics top notch. Vivian is in her element on wedding day and clients are always raving about how enjoyable it is to work with her during the planning process. She is known for her keen attention to detail and a whiz when it comes to an estate wedding. Vivian is always up to a challenge and bringing the client’s ideas to life. She is a graduate of the UC Santa Barbara and our Santa Barbara expert.

Tricia Gunter
Lead Planner

For years, Tricia has managed non-profit events for Sundance Institute, SFFILM, and Center Theatre Group. She enjoys the challenge of creating an exciting experience on a tight budget and supporting a cause at the same time! As for her passion, Tricia loves working on social events that bring people together for parties, festivals, and weddings. Those who have worked with Tricia brag about how she is very detail oriented, calm under any situation, and passionate about every project she works on. From weddings to fundraisers, to social parties, Tricia will ensure that even the host can be a guest at their event!

Kimberlee Howe
Lead Planner

Kimberlee is fashion forward thinker and loves to design. With a degree in Event Management she knows exactly what it takes to produce the perfect event. She has over 6 years experience in the bridal industry working with everything from fine linens, design and planning. Kimberlee loves getting to know her clients through the planning process and she can’t help but shed some happy tears during her favorite moments like the the father/daughter dance and toasts. Her colleagues describe her as personable, a client advocate and trendy. When Kimberlee isn’t working on her events she enjoys photography, traveling, visiting museums, and enjoying musical festivals.

Lauren Townsend
Lead Planner

Lauren was born and raised in California, where she developed an early passion for bringing people together to celebrate. After gaining a certification in event management from SF State, and coupled with her strong background in food, Lauren honed her expertise in managing events with some of the Bay Area’s top chefs in San Francisco’s pop-up scene. Known by the couples she works with as highly relatable and emotionally supportive throughout the whole wedding process, Lauren’s mission is to make planning your special day an enjoyable experience. When not planning weddings and events, Lauren enjoys live music, cooking, international travel and spending time in nature.

Simone Sterling
Lead Planner

Simone has experience in the corporate, sports and nonprofit events over the last 5 years. With her passion for events she has fallen in love with weddings and finds herself invested in creating and assisting a couple’s big days to create life long memories for them and their guests. Simone loves logistics and always is excited to see a unique idea brought to life! In her free time she enjoys the outdoors, traveling and experiencing different cultures.

Maggie Tom
Lead Planner

Maggie works with the mind and heart of an artist, using her creativity, attention to detail, patience, and her love of diversity to help you plan and design a wedding that is true and unique to you and your love. Born and raised in San Francisco, Maggie has had experience with weddings all over the Bay Area, from wine country weddings in Sonoma County, to breezy coastal weddings in Monterey Bay, to hidden gems in the East Bay, and whimsical eclectic weddings in San Francisco. She loves getting to know her clients and being able to share and learn new ideas and help bring her client’s visions to life.
