CMG Events is an award winning event planning & design company. We have teams based in Napa Valley, the Bay Area and Los Angeles. We also specialize in destination weddings and have traveled to destinations like Sun Valley, Idaho, Colorado, Texas, Arizona, Hawaii, Italy  and Mexico. Our work has graced the pages of People, Vogue, BRIDES, Martha Stewart, Style Me Pretty and countless others. We are in the Hall of Fame for Couple’s Choice Awards and are the highest rated wedding planning team in the Napa Valley. We were also named a Top Planner in SF by Party Slate.

Let's be honest ... Wedding planning can be tough, but it doesn't have to be! There is no “right way” to do this. This is YOUR wedding, not ours. We are here to guide, support and produce the vision you have or that we have created together. We will never pressure you on traditions or elements of the day that don't resonate with you as a couple. We believe each event is unique and we approach every planning process with that in mind.We are here to be your expert partner and make sure you have the most incredible and memorable day you can dream of, whatever that means for you!

CHRISTINE GARRISON - OWNER / DESIGNER

Christine is the visionary force behind  CMG Events. With a passion for creating unforgettable moments, she brings a blend of sophistication and creativity to the world of luxury weddings. Her personal touches, attention to detail, empathy, warm and fun loving attitude are just a few of the qualities that she's most known for. With an unwavering commitment to perfection, Christine and her team have orchestrated  hundreds of celebrations that transcended all expectations, were heartfelt and logistically flawless.

Christine was born and raised in the Bay Area of California, but traveled south for college where she obtained a Bachelor's in Communication Studies at the University of San Diego. After graduating she headed to Los Angeles to pursue her love for event planning. Christine started her career on the Santa Monica Pier. During her time there, she worked on large-scale events ranging from 100-2,000 guests for notable companies such as Google, Snapchat, Hulu, Microsoft, Nickelodeon, SOSC World Games and many more.

After starting CMG Events in Los Angeles she expanded the company and moved back to Northern California in 2017. With planners in Napa Valley, SF Bay Area and Los Angeles the team has grown to serve all of California, giving them a unique edge in the industry.

Outside of events, Christine loves doing life with her husband Robert, her sons Robert and Benny and her English bulldog, Theodore. She is here to be your creative partner and the ultimate goal is to produce a day full of memories you will cherish forever . She loves what she does and that is obvious to every client she works with, many of whom become friends in the process.

    Meet Reanna! One of our Project Managers, beyond her exceptional organizational skills, she is known for her energy and a personality that lights up the room. She turns each project into a collaborative journey, where success is measured not just in milestones, but in smiles and laughter.

    Meet Michelle! Rounding out our Project Manager team, Michelle moved back to California after years of event production in NY and we are so lucky to have her eye for design and attention to detail on our team.

    Meet our Office Maestro! With a sprinkle of organization and a dash of sunshine, Jennie keeps the gears turning smoothly and is the wizard behind the scenes, making our workspace a happy and efficient place to be! She also is the queen of Google Calendar and all internal workflows.

  • Great question! This depends on a multitude of factors like what package is booked, location, venue and logistics. Our first step is to get to know you, your partner and your vision. Once we have an inquiry call we can better speak to your event.

    Christine, the owner, takes on 10 Full Service Planning & Design weddings a year directly and is onsite for those events. Christine books at a different rate than the rest of the team due to her limited slots a year.

    For Full Planning & Partial Planning packages with our Lead Producers, Christine works in tandem with the Lead Producer. Christine’s focus is on design and vendor matchmaking, while the Lead Producer focuses on planning & production and leading the team onsite. The planning process is a well oiled machine, creating incredibly beautiful and successful end results!

    Lead Producers for our Coordination packages are assigned 3 months before the event. Rest assured that all of our planners are professional, highly experienced and you'll be in great hands no matter what!

    Every single wedding is also assigned a Project Manager for a white glove and high touch experience every step of the way.

  • One distinct trait of CMG Events is that we truly are California wedding planners. Every year we take on weddings all over the state and have expertise in all of the varying industry markets in the state and know the best vendors in all the different areas. We are known for sourcing the best vendor talent, regardless of their location (and also within budget!).

    We also use a planning portal with all of our clients that adds immense value to our packages and makes planning stress free.

    Lastly, our clients value and love the relationships and friendships they build with us along the way. We are professionals, but we also love what we do and cherish sharing this memory with you!’

  • Absolutely! Our passport is ready. Where are we going? Most recently we have traveled and worked in Mexico, Italy, Colorado, Idaho, Arizona, Hawaii and Texas!

  • Yes, we are licensed and have maximum liability insurance of up to $2 Million. We only work with professionals and insured vendors as well!

  • The total investment will depend on many factors and a custom proposal will be created once we get a chance to have an inquiry call. Coordination packages start at $4,500.

  • Think of a wedding planner as a contractor for a house. You wouldn’t build your dream home without one right? We really are the producer of your event. Guiding you through a process and industry you are most likely not very familiar with. We are the insurance policy on the very large investment you are making on this celebration. A solid planner and team truly impact how an event runs and how the final vision is executed. We also want you to ENJOY the process!
